What I do
Software engineering
I write code that has to outlive the demo: a readable structure, tests, code review and a deployment. I bring the same habits to AI projects.
AI and machine learning
Predictive models, computer vision and language processing: from preparing the data, through training, to an evaluation you can trust. I treat language models as a tool for a specific job, not as the point in themselves.
Data and automation
Data pipelines and warehouses: pulling, cleaning and loading data on a schedule or as it arrives, with a dashboard or a report at the end.
Studies and organisations
Final year of ICT at AGH UST in Krakow and the RoboDog team in the AGH Analytica research group. Before that I co-organised the BITEhack hackathon at BEST AGH Krakow.

B.Eng. thesis: predicts which parts of YouTube videos viewers replay the most. Frozen video, audio and subtitle encoders, modality fusion and a temporal model, trained on the Mr.HiSum dataset (over 30,000 videos).
Vehicle detection and recognition on road footage with a fine-tuned YOLOv8 model, covering dataset preparation and inference on video.
End-to-end ETL into a star-schema data warehouse for online store data (over 100,000 orders), with a Streamlit KPI dashboard. Fully containerised with Docker.
Credit default prediction on the Kaggle GiveMeSomeCredit dataset: data cleaning, feature engineering, model training and evaluation.
